Mentor Moms
What we do:
Provide support and guidance for pregnant or parenting women in Livingston County.  Women may be first time parents, or in need of extra support because they are lacking it from family or friends.
Who our Mentors are:
Mentors are caring and compassionate women of all ages who make a commitment to accompany a pregnant young woman or new mother through the journey of pregnancy and motherhood.  These women spend 4-6 hours a month with their mentee, taking them to necessary doctor appointments or providing maternal support through friendship and guidance.

To Be a Mentor You Should Be...
  • Compassionate and desire to make a difference in someone's life.

  • Able to make a commitment of 1 year (minimum) and provide 4-6 contact hours per month with your mentee

  • Flexible in response to your mentee's needs

  • Willing to go through background checks

  • Willing to participate in the training, and go through the interview process
