Program: Help*Works Community Resource, Community Crops Initiative
Description:
Besides for gardening a private or community plot, there are two ways you can become involved with the community garden:
1. Garden Leader: Help out your fellow gardeners by being available during designated work sessions.
2. Garden Board: Help make decisions about garden operations
Training and Support:
Meet with Program Director, continued support is offered through staff in the office.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Interest and knowledge of gardening
- Desire to help community members learn about healthy foods and how to grow them
- Dependable and responsible
Time/Location:
- Flexible schedule, times and hours will be determined on an individual basis. The Garden Board has set meetings.
- Garden Location: 11 East State St., Mt. Morris, NY (Next to McDonalds and across from CCLC).
